MONTAGUE RECREATION APRIL 4TH MEETING MINUTES

Update on 6th, 7th and 8th Grade 60's Dance- April 8th, 7-9pm Cost of event $200.00 for Live Band $six foot subs, drinks, chips cups plates ect... $100.00.

Easter Event- Recreation will be participating in a Joint Event at the Minisink Church Pavillion on April 23rd, 2011. Fire Department Breakfast with the Bunny will be held starting at 9am. Egg hunt and activities will follow at 11am. Recreation will purchase candy and table clothes for the event up to $300.00 has been approved for the event. Groups participating Minisink Church, Montague Fire Department, Montague Recreation and Community Corp of High Point.

Discussion on Carnival Rides for Montague Day. Dave to provide phone number so we can contact carnival company about cost for event. Do we want to make this a one day or two day event with the classic car show? More at out next meeting when we have more information.

Vendor Charge for Montague Day- Tabled till next meeting.

206 Ball Field Discussion- Porta potties will be ordered for both spring soccer and baseball/softball season. Baseball needed additional fields for practice. CCH has offerd to allow Montague Baseball use of their ball field.

Adult Dinner Dance Update- May 7th at Riverview Inn- Band the Symphonics $500.00, Decorations 79.87 and $101,51 cost to print tickets was $45.00.

Spring Soccer Update- will be a short session starting the end of april for four weeks cost is free to play. Flier will be printed and distributed.

Slogan Contest- Recreation likes the town slogan as it is now and is not interested in changing the slogan.

Ball field paint has been orderd and received for Baseball and Soccer cost $471.74 for 12 cases.
